Sonic 1 was completely unusable.
Sonic 3 recompilation is about 40% done.
Good news! As of writing this me and HJ are in the process of recompiling the code and sprites from the dump (we also decided to extract files from 2 and CD just in case), for some reason there are files titles "Naomi.bin" included, im guessing someone tampered with the games before i got them, would explain the messed up palettes but i find it weird they have people names instead of you know, obj_whatever.
Below this i will include some of the sprites we found along with a really fucking weird gif.
Had to change the black from Eggman's pants because i did not want to add an outline.
Had to give this file its own section or the code would break.
This girl was either working on modding this or the guy that sold it to me didn't know it was tampered? I feel like the latter is more possible, this looks modern.
For some reason we could not find any sonic sprites besides the animation, not in 2 or CD, after i got the sprites i checked the games and they all still had him during gameplay, Knuckles and Amy also look off but i still haven't been able to test it out much given that the knuckles gameplay is not available for us to test and that amy is not a real playable character.
